Mubiru sits on the highest rock of his prides den, worryingly watching for hyenas. The Pride has lost too many cubs recently and Mubiru is not the fast agile strong king he once was. The heir and other sub males were sent out to protect and patrol other areas of territory. Sunny approaches and joins Mubiru silently. Mubiru gives a small greeting before turning his gaze back to the empty and brittle savannah. Sunny flicks away an annoying fly before stating to Mubiru that, no matter what, he would proudly stand by his side. The hyenas never come, Dredged and the sub males return safely and Mubiru worries a bit less that afternoon.
