It was hearing this phrase among the adult lionesses' conversations that made Bonnie discover that she was not Micail's daughter. She questioned her mother for not telling her, but Hassany said she didn't know it would bother her, as Micail didn't make any distinction between adopted children and his own cubs.
Bonnie, irritated, said that she had the right to know her origins, so her mother calmly told her what she knew about her father: He is a nomadic lion who doesn't stay in one place, whose personality was dangerously charming, and that his nature was not the best, even though he had treated her very well.
