Ixchel loves her Grandpaw 😭

Ixchel Searose, a little upset that their mother went out for her daily walk, is sniffling and quietly sobbing where she'd left them. Grandpaw Zyrtonos Sunguide scoops them up and pretends to nom at their belly, slobbering all over Ixchel Searose - whose sniffling and crying was quickly replaced with giggles and squeals.

After some of your teenage cubs tell Ixchel Searose a scary story about undead lions, Ixchel Searose is so distraught that they've worked themselves into a panic attack. Grandpaw Zyrtonos Sunguide holds them close and tells them that he'll keep them safe.

When Ixchel Searose asks their Grandpaw if he'll be there forever, Grandpaw Zyrtonos Sunguide has to break the news that, one day, he'll be gone. Before Ixchel Searose can start to panic, Grandpaw Zyrtonos Sunguide promises them that he'll be watching over them from the stars, and they'll never have to be afraid because he'll always be with them in their heart.

Try as you might, you can't seem to find Ixchel Searose anywhere! You spend the better part of your morning searching through your territory, roaring and calling out their name in case they've wandered off. As you pass by Grandpaw Zyrtonos Sunguide, he softly calls you over and lifts up his paw, revealing the lost cub, who is... fast asleep? It seems they had a nightmare and snuggled up with Grandpaw all night. D'awww...
