Everyone found out quickly after they were born that Aeliopus was clumsy. Always running into things or other lions, and even tripping over pebbles.

As they got older you start to notice the cloudy look their eyes, but chalk it up to it just being the colouring.

One day you take Aeliopus out to practice hunting. You tell them to keep their eyes trained on the gazelle just a few paces in front of you, but they just look at you confused.

"What gazelle?"

Aeliopus squints their eyes, looking in the direction you were staring at. Still though, they cannot seem to spot it.

You begin to wonder about their vision, and take them away from the prey to question them.

After a few tests, you find that Aeliopus's eyesight is very poor, the reason for the cloudy look in their eyes.

You decide to move your pride for their safety, searching for days to find an area with a territory safe enough to raise them in.

Eventually, you stumble across a green, lush area with a hidden cove inside of a tree's roots. It's large enough to where they can grow and still be able to fit comfortably. The surrounding area had shade spots and a nice waterhole with plenty prey nearby.

You quickly move your pride over, Aeliopus carried by the scruff the entire journey.

Aeliopus seems to be thriving here, protected and adored on by the entire pride. They grow quickly, learning how to fend for themself despite their eyesight. Though they still stay with you, deciding not to leave and find a new pride.

They rub up against your side, purring softly. You groom their fur, proud of how far they've come.

You find a small black leopard cub one day, and decide to surprise Aeliopus with it.

They are instantly ecstatic, asking quickly if they can keep it. You laugh and agree. They name it Shuaiba.

As time passes you find Shuaiba and Aeliopus often cuddling together in their den. Your heart warms at the sight every time.

You rolled your eyes once again as .⭑°.☆𝓐𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓸𝓹𝓾𝓼☆.°⭑. asked you about going to the forest. No, they can not become one with the leopards.
