I don’t… I’m not sure why I’m here to be honest. Sapphic seems to have plenty of cubs already, many who are far prettier or cuddlier than me. She says I don’t have to hunt if I don’t want to, but literally what else does she expect me to do? Brandy, the Queen watching over me seems nice at least, and Cub Storm was nice enough to show me how to best layer feathers in a nest so I won’t be poked by the shaft. There’s two others who regularly stay in the nursery besides me and Storm Girl—except the queens, but y’know…—I wonder why we haven’t been moved out yet? Ever since I completed Sapphic’s training Brandy’s been on my tail about pulling my weight in the nursery, teaching me about herbs and stuff to help the pride. It’s…been a few moons since I earned my name—truly earned it. I…I see now why Brandy was so…specific about me staying in the nursery…the things I had to learn; I can’t believe I’m part of the council…
