Fernando WD

my child fernando's life. and my forever version of him in case he dies.
him and loudermilk are my babies.

5/4/24
Fernando was born. fernando is one of my several goats. his sister was stillborn, he couldn't even walk. i stayed up the first 4 days. only 6 hours of sleep between them. he was supposed to die, but he lived. and i stayed with him for 2-3 weeks because i was afraid.

6/10/24-ish - 6/20/24
he had an abscess that grew quite fast on his umbilical cord. he then went to the vet. twice now. i found out he needed surgery to get it fixed and to find his second nut. as of 7/11/24 it still hasn't dropped. his surgery date is 8/1/24.

7/11/24
had to call the vet for a check up for 7/15/24. it's gotten painfully worse, he can't be held unless very careful, even so one wrong move it all goes bad. he can't lay or get up without crying in pain.

7/15/24
we took him. he was septic with a fever. vet said we just hit a nerve, he's been getting better trying to stand on it

7/21/24
he is a terror. not out of the woods yet but feeling way better

8/1/24
he made it. the hernia turned into a cyst so she took it and the affected tissue out. she also found his second nut way up in. it would of never dropped. he is now recovering and going to live. i knew all that work i put into him was worth it.

9/25/24
had to go to the vet due to peeing blood and straight liquid diarrhea.

9/27/24
he came home. they said he was doing great. i came home from work at 9pm to see him. we gave him 2 shots and i was afraid to go to sleep because i knew he was going to die. i know my children.

9/28/24
i got up and he was dead. i told my brother and parents and they didn't care. unfortunately i know my child. he lived his best life. i'm still convinced the vet killed him with those shots. i will never go back to her never.

Loudermilk will live on his legacy
