Biography
(Magus: Magician)
Vigilant

~Lore~
A creak, a knock, a light tap on the chipped wooden door, waiting and hoping for someone, anyone to open up. He had to be here, he had to be the one to help, he was the only one who could. A minute goes by, then two, a frog croaks in the distance, echoing could be heard, bouncing from tree to tree. The wet environment was slowly creeping unto the lioness, it was terrifying, the marsh, the wetness, the cold, the smell of inescapable death, it was all too much.

Suddenly, the door was flung open, and a large figure with glowing mane and limbs stepped out, eyeing her listlessly. After an awkward silence, she’s invited into the dark musty cabin. He offered her a place to sit before opening his mouth to speak, a low voice with a hint of mystic is heard. He introduces himself as Magus, The Lich of the Marshes, many who have heard of him would never dare approach his cabin with such bravery, and remarked that her actions were either out of desperation or stupidity. Noticing she was taking some offence to this, he quickly changed the subject, asking about her, and her situation.

Her name was Purpura, and she needed help in retrieving her child from evildoers, and he was the only one that could do it, as they were no ordinary kidnappers, they had abilities that no one else had. Magus watched her carefully after she was done explaining, contemplating on the request. It was challenging, but nothing he couldn’t handle, but he needed compensation for an undertaking this…serious. The request would be accepted, on one condition, but without even listening to the terms, Purpura agreed instantly, saying she would pay any price needed, as long as her child was safe. And so it was, a quest of a lifetime, and one that would change their lives forever.

Closing his glowing blue eyes, an enchantment was uttered under his breath, and in a split second, they were transported to where her child, Lucens Gemma was held captive. Purpura was shocked at how fast they had travelled, when it had taken her at least 5 nights just to get to Magus. Without much hesitation, the two marched in, Magus ripped the arena a new one, tearing the place apart as a distraction, while Purpura went searching for her cub. And when Lucens was found, and in the arms of his mother, they were sent right back to where he was, in the middle of it all.

The conditions had been fulfilled, and in a blink of an eye, the mother and cub were changed. Magus had been looking for an heir, and someone to care for them with, and here they were, standing tall, no regrets. He gently smiled at them, and with a tap of his paw against the dusty earth, a light breeze began to pick up around them, swirling faster and faster, before engulfing them entirely. Shouting and yelling for someone to stop them echoed throughout the arena, but it was too late. As the wind subsided and dispersed, so did they, as if they had never been there. Gasps and panic sounded all around, orders were being given left and right. But just like that, Magus and his syndicate had disappeared, never to be seen again…
