Daewen opened his eyes, smelling an unfamiliar scent. There was a MASSIVE male with a skeleton face standing over him. Stricken with fear the cub let out a mighty hiss. He struggled to his little, unsteady paws, with shaking legs the cub raised a paw to strike out at any would be attacker.

“Well, look at you.” The large male nearly purred. “So tiny and fierce.”

With a large paw the massive male tipped the tiny colorful cub over. I squeaked adorably in protest.

“I told you this one was special.” A large nearly identical adult male purred upon approach.

“He certainly is.” The large skeleton face lion agreed. “Could be a worthy heir.”
