✦ yggdrasil comes from a realm of eternity, where time feels as if it never passes. they share word of a kind of stillness; no living creature dies of old age, but this does not mean they are immortal. all creatures are born with only four of five senses. some cannot hear, others cannot smell or see. they cannot feel or taste. a few members of their pride are saddened by this information, saying that living in a realm like that sounded very miserable. yggdrasil only laughs, but replies that they all learn to adapt to the environment. after all, in that realm, everything that happens there is their "normal."

✦ yggdrasil does not actually have the need to eat, sleep or quench their thirst. they feign these needs in order to fit in with other lions. it's unknown how old they truly are, but they will give normal answers in earthly years to reduce suspicion and uncertainty of their character. yggdrasil has impeccable memory like an elephant, and absorbs information like a sponge.
