Tempest

Claimed at the Aird Desert in the middle of the night at 10 years, 6 months old at the end of the Locust Plague.

{10 years, 10 months old} - Tempest gave birth to her first cub within the Eternal Eclipse pride. She had been warned before joining that any cubs born to her new King would belong to him first and their fate would be his to decide. She thought it was a silly thing to stress as it all went under, the King is the ruler of all lions in the pride and therefore able to do as he pleased rule, but now that she knew there was a good chance he would take her daughter away Tempest was angry she couldn't be angrier about it. The entire time she was pregnant, the Lead Mother and her Broodmothers made sure she was aware that most cubs that were born into Mother's Den left in their father's jaws and never to return. Tempest blew them all off, but she couldn't shake off her frustration as her cub slept curled and tucked in tightly next to her. That was until her King entered Mother's Den. Immediately, she felt like her cub was in danger. She had witnessed it herself, cubs being taken from their mothers and leaving the cavern, dangling and crying from Vesper's jaws.

The image made her irritable when he reached her nest, and she only acknowledged him with her gaze. He took a moment with her daughter and then set his gaze back onto her. "She is not staying, Tempest. I'll be taking her." He told her before bending down and taking her little body in his jaws. Instinctually, she snarled but one warning look from her King reminded her of her oath to him. She turned her head from them, releasing her anger with a few harsh tail lashes. What made her angrier was the fact that every lion here could only tell her, they told her so.
