AngelFace

AngelFace, previously known as Mak, was the first cub born with his mother's, the Queen's, unique white markings. Believed blessed, it was speculated whether or not the Queen would consider him the heir to the throne. The older cubs prowled by on silent feet around him so as not to disturb him, were careful when playing with him to avoid permanent scarring for the future heir, and were the most fond of him. As such, when Queen Etheldreda decided he was not to be heir, for she had spoken to Crowley before his passing and had asked the Lion spirits for guidance, a heavy gloom hung itself low amidst the pride. It was most peculiar when AngelFace's siblings began aging, growing, developing muscles and stronger teeth to sink into their playmates' fur, and AngelFace remained young, ever a small cub. It was when Queen Etheldreda took AngelFace to the cycle rock where the moon shined brightest that she was told his new name and promised an heir, perhaps a bit later.
