Thanatos

When a male cub reaches adolescence, Micail will most often offer the option of staying or leaving, rather than simply telling them to leave when they are adults. The vast majority leave anyway... After all, almost every young male wants the chance to have a pride of his own. Thanathos spent several months trying to decide what he wanted, until he decided to stay. Perhaps one day he will leave to try to start his own pride, but for now he was more than content to live in his father's pride and help keep everyone safe.
Thanathos has always had a very cordial and polite personality, showing due respect to his elders and, as he grew older, to the females and younger ones, even to the small cubs who would bother him to play from time to time. He is a patient lion, calm by nature, and yet a brave warrior. Due to his temperament and upbringing, Micail chose him to be the male responsible for protecting the females. The draconic lion knew he could trust his son not to disrespect the lionesses.
While Corinthio focused more on the traveling lions, always keeping an eye on the edges of the territory, Thanatos patrolled the inner parts, never straying too far from the caves, in case he needed to protect them if necessary.

When he was still a teenager, he made two unusual friends: a small bird of prey he named Ash, and a golden jackal named Sand. Both accompany him on patrols, and the three have a habit of sleeping together during rest periods.
