His moral compass is busted; Gold does whatever he wants, good or bad, as long as it benefits him in some way. Many pridemates have voiced their concerns about him being the next king, but Stardust has full confidence in his son since he himself was able to kick his evil nature. Lions are usually on edge when Gold is around since he’s unpredictable and has handed out scars to several just because they looked at him wrong. Some say his mother’s death really pushed him over the edge, and if she hadn’t been killed by a neighboring pride, then maybe Gold would be different.
