Wow there’s a lot of lions in a pride, I didn’t know there were this many lions could get along enough to share a space let alone food. It’s all just a blur now, but I’m pretty sure when I was with Father and ..someone before…before…I..I don’t remember where I came from. What happened to you, Father? Are you ok? Where did you go? The little sphinx says this is the best possible outcome, what…what does that even mean? Why do I feel like I’ve seen this lioness before?
The moons past have flown by; I..don’t remember much of any of that either. I still see the Sphinx Cub a lot, but they’ve gotten..quiter—distant, even; I wonder why? In other news, I got my first carcass, so…yay.
…The Sphinx cub is gone..I guess I shouldn’t be shocked—their voice was getting harder and harder to hear, if they spoke at all; I just…I dunno they were kinda the only company I had besides Sequoia; Y’know what’s worse? A new cub came into the pride—another primal! No one’s said a word about it. Somehow I’m stumpy, but the primal cub she brought home is accepted with open arms? What the hell!
I HAVE A DOG!!! Well—he wasn’t—I wasn’t exactly—I found him on a hunt, and he followed me. I thought he was done for when the huntresses found me with him, but he was actually allowed to stay lol.
Sequoia took me with her to a hyena clan discussion—I even got to help negotiate hunting terms! I wonder why group hunting isn’t as common for those without their own people; sure you have to share, but you also have an easier time taking down prey—how is that not a fair tradeoff?
