Ashanti came to the pride with a satchel full of herbs and a dream. After wandering about on her own for a while, Ashanti realized she wanted to belong somewhere, to have an actual place to call home where others admired and needed her. She met Stardust beneath an acacia tree while he was making his usual rounds of his territory. He asked Ashanti what her story was, and after hearing it decided to recruit her as she’d be useful. Ashanti doesn’t talk much about her past; when asked she responds with “I’m here now, and that’s all that matters.”
