Monty

This RLC is in honor of my precious baby Monty. I got him when I was 9, he was an adorable doll faced Persian and he was my whole world, but he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the 17th of July 2024, only 4 months after his nineth birthday.

He was a very smart and friendly kitty, he loved attention and going outside (even though he wasn't allowed out off leash), and I was even able to use treats to teach him some tricks. "High-five" (He would put his paw on your palm when you held your hand up and said "high-five") and "kiss" (He would lick your finger when you held it up to him and said "Kiss").

I truly believe it was fate the brought him to me. At the time I was OBSESSED with getting an orange tabby, and it HAD to be female, I had no interest in male cats at all. Monty had been miss sexed as a kitten, so when we met him, we were told he was a female kitten named Mildred. I fell in love with him instantly when we went into a private meeting room to play with him for a bit, had my mom put him on hold, and than begged her the next morning to adopt him. He wasn't the orange tabby I was obsessed with getting, but he was still orangish, and as we thought at the time, female. Had he not been miss sexed as a kitten, I probably wouldn't have even given him a second glance, and we wouldn't have adopted him. But thanks to fate, I ended up with the most wonderful cat I could have ever asked for, and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Since this is an RLC I will be using it's heats to try and get another, but after it is past breeding age I will be freezing and modifying it slightly to make it look a little more like my cat (Yellow eyes and pink skin).
