Dreamwalker

Dreamwalker had no name for a while after her birth, her mother and Pride leader mostly dumbfounded at her appearance.
A couple months passed and as she learned to walk and talk, she would tell her mother and the broodmothers of strange dreams she would have, involving lions she did not recognize. The pride would gather and listen to her recall these dreams, some older lionesses would realize she would describe lions who have long passed or travelers encountered in the pride's lifetime. Her mother, Fish Scales, then had a name: Dreamwalker. Dreamwalker had barely reached teenhood before being one of the pride's few Shamans. A shaman had not been an official role, as it was rare a lion was born with such abilities, and the last shaman had been long gone before Dreamwalker's birth, the young lioness begs for the pride's last shaman to visit her as she sleeps, as she's unsure how to navigate this new role. As Dreamwalker ages she does get a hold on just how to be a shaman, fully embracing her role in the pride, helping travelers and pridemates.
