After Cub fails during training, Grandpaw ❆ 𝓑𝓞𝓑𝓐 ❆ approaches the snivelling cub and warmly says, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." Cub sniffles one last time, then rears up and excitedly gets ready to train once more.

To teach the cubs about the virtue of patience, Grandpaw ❆ 𝓑𝓞𝓑𝓐 ❆ takes them aside and teaches them about the circle of life... and the birds and the bees, apparently, which has the cubs all making a variety of disgusted noises.

After you grounded Cub for acting out and being mean, you left them under Grandpaw ❆ 𝓑𝓞𝓑𝓐 ❆'s watchful eye. Although Cub was in a very pouty mood, they couldn't keep pouting with Grandpaw ❆ 𝓑𝓞𝓑𝓐 ❆ pulling silly faces behind them to cheer them up a bit.

After earning the wrath of the broodmothers, Cub was dumped into the paws of Grandpaw ❆ 𝓑𝓞𝓑𝓐 ❆. It didn't take very long for Grandpaw ❆ 𝓑𝓞𝓑𝓐 ❆ to get the cub to relax, but the broodmothers swear they made Cub chill a little for him first.

After failing again, Cub ends up lashing out at their siblings who didn't fail, leaving some very sour faces among your brood. Grandpaw ❆ 𝓑𝓞𝓑𝓐 ❆ takes Cub aside and tells them that alienating pride members is a bad idea. Cub eventually apologises and asks if they can give training another go.

"When someone you love dies," Grandpaw ❆ 𝓑𝓞𝓑𝓐 ❆ begins, and you think to yourself that he certainly isn't pulling any swipes with this story today, "I know you'll miss them, but they'll always be watching over you. They'll always be in here, too." He touches his paw to the chest of one of his grandcubs. Immediately, the group of cubs all take it the wrong way, and begin to yell about that cub having eaten their ancestors. "No, no! It's not like that at all! Let me tell you..."
