Tajiri is a shortening of the word ‘utajiri’ which means ‘fortune’ and ‘wealth’. Tajiri is Nyoka’s first cub in her first litter, and is a dead ringer for his grandfather, King Matümaini. Being the grandson of the king, Tajiri has a high opinion of himself similar to Jareth, the Goblin Prince, his uncle. Tajiri Hope's to get a high position one dat, and is recruited by Scrooge to join the Guard, a system that he is reviving. ~Tajiri just woke you up from sleeping. Again. For more water. And they have to pee. But it's dark. Ugh. ~You get into an argument with Tajiri over who would win in a fight - Apedemak or the Sangoma Leader. The cub says Apedemak, because he's a lion...but you've seen what that human does with the weather… ~You approach Tajiri and he actually acknowledges you! He proceeds to tell you a story that you should be quite honored to hear. You wonder what you did to become worthy of his time.
