Hauwa

Hauwa is somewhat of an extravagant lioness. She loves furs and jewelry, and never passes up on a good deal. However, she is not selfish. In fact, she is so addicted to "good deals" that she ends up buying far more than she could possibly ever need or use. In these cases, she gifts many of her things to others. In fact, this is how she became acquainted with Hakizimana. Whilst wandering through the tropical rainforest, she came across the clumsy king after he tripped over a fallen tree right in front of her. Of course, she couldn't help but laugh at him. However, this made him sad, so to apologize, she gifted him some furs. Which, of course, was shocking to Hakizimana, as he had not come across any lioness with such a surplus of goods during the great famine. Naturally, inviting her to the pride was a no-brainer.

Hauwa is great with cubs. She loves crafting tiny versions of fur shawls and capes for them, and they love receiving such flashy gifts. However, many times she has to be reminded not to spoil them too much, else they grow lazy and privileged. Honestly, Hauwa doesn't much care about such a thing. The priceless looks on their tiny faces is enough to egg her on!
