As oldest lioness and the first to become part of the pride, Zoli commands a great deal of respect from the younger generation and can be found at the head of every hunt. Years of experience have conditioned her to become a powerful hunter and a master tactician, and there isn't a day when her patrols come back empty-jawed. As a position of dominance demands in such a large pride, Zoli is confident, charismatic, and assertive, believing that a pride's strength lies in the number of followers. She demands undying loyalty from the subordinate lionesses and even the more distant male lions would readily admit that Zoli and her fiery, dynamic leadership are what keeps the pride on its toes.

Finally, on 12/24/14, the day her last cub was born, she gave up her duties in the pride in order to fully care for her child. She passed on the torch of leadership to Hysteria, a young lioness she had chosen to mentor during her last few years of duty. Though it would be shocking and a great burden for her, Zoli knew she had made the right choice.
