Biography
Bahati was one of a litter of four cubs - the only one to survive. Her mother was overjoyed, and named her for the luck that had kept her alive when fate condemned her siblings. Unfortunately, it seemed, the loss of her other cubs - the third litter of fatalities (the previous two litters having had none survive)- had taken its toll. Bahati's mother, a rogue lioness, began the slow, torturous descent into madness, which eventually led her to abandon her young daughter in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately for Bahati, a second miracle arrived in the form of Shujaa, who found her close to death, and rescued her. Shujaa's foster daughter quickly became Bahati's best friend, and when they joined Achilia's pride, the two easily bonded with one of his scouts, Dua. Bahati's name means 'luck' in Swahili.
