Accalia wasn't too happy to be offered up and traded off to another pride. She knew what that means - cubs have to come from somewhere, and she was aware that this was exactly what Arizuma would eventually want. She was surprised when he turned out to be a kind, even playful soul, giving her food and playing with her in an attempt to help her feel more at home. As an adult, Accalia quickly climbed to the position of lead huntress, a post she still holds with pride. Being close in age to Pearlsmoke, the two formed a fast friendship, if one edged with competitiveness. Now, more than a decade has passed since she was traded to her pride. She's seen cubs born, grow up, and leave to find new prides of their own. Her joints ache a little more with every passing month, and she can hear the whispers of old friends urging her to take a well-deserved rest. And she will, once she's sure that Ember and Fiametta are ready to take her place.
