Life Story ~
Mbingu had a tough start at life, her birth pride abandoning both her and her mother before she was old enough to walk. Without the support and protection of other lions the little cub was destined to die. However, that fate was forever changed when The King Eater's accepted them into the family.
Zombie Event -
Unwilling to trust King Udongo, Mbingu would normally run off to be on her own. The last time she'd wander away from the adults was when she became cornered under tree roots by a horrendous beast with no way out. As day turned into night with the beast clawing his way closer, Udongo managed to find the cub just barely in time and fought harshly to fend off the monster. Though she never thanked him, Mbingu could not ignore her new found respect for the fledgling King.
Death Of Tau -
When the pride was small, the adolescents Tau and Mbingu were left to play babysitter. When a (WIP) stumbled upon them, intent on wiping out the cubs & their protectors the two jumped into action. Mbingu was unlucky, as a rough slash to the neck brought her down. Tau kept fighting and drove off the intruder. In the end however, his injuries were too great and his young life was ended.
Mbingu feels great remorse and guilt over Tau's death.
Poacher Event -
After the slaughter of a group of *chased off adolescences, Mbingu became worried for her cubs safety and started patrolling the territory border religiosity. When she found out her daughter Ulu had been sneaking into villages to spite her mother, Mbingu set out to put an end to this but soon found herself at the mercy of a poacher's trap.
Ulu, returning from an unsuccessful hunt of village cattle, discovered her mother as poachers were arguing over the best way to deal with the caught lioness. Ulu confronted the hunters, diverting their attention away. Witnessing this, Mbingu lashed out at the hunters through her net receiving a knife to her eye. Regardless, she continued to fight till the net broke and ran after her daughter. When the pair met up, Ulu had dispatched most of the poachers and together mother and daughter finished the rest.
Arena & Flooding Event -
Mbingu's daughter Zola came as a gift, easing the pain of Zawadi's passing. Though she kept a watchful eye on her youngest, she allowed Zola more freedom then she had given Ulu. However, Mbingu almost came to regret this when a rouge male attacked her. But the mother's fear was put aside when Zola arrived home sporting the skin of the lion.
The Celestial Lion -
Mbingu's Son Mosi went missing during this event. He had been acting weird of late, questioning the rituals and beliefs of the pride. The entire pride searched for him, but nothing was found. In her heart Mbingu knew she had failed her son.
The Fires -
Following the disappearance of her son, Mbingu was hit hard again when King Udongo died during one of his patrols. While out, the old male had become trapped behind a line of flames and was overtaken by the smoke. With both the queen and king now dead, Mbingu along with Jengo took their places as Regents until the heir Adaizi came of age and a new king was found.
The Locust -
Mbingu, old but refusing to die yet, gave birth to her last litter and with it her daughter Ishi and son Ahmose. With Jengo and her other children Ulu and Zola at her side, Mbingu fights to live on in hope of seeing her last cubs grow up happy.
