Background:

One of the oldest of the Pride, Qharisma has become somewhat settles in her lifetime as the main hunt leader of the pride she always strived to prove her worth to show her gratefulness to Pandora for not chasing her out during the purge due to weakness and lack of attractive features. She is know currently watching the newest crop of young lionesses attempting to select a replacement for herself when the time comes.

Now retired from her duties as the lead hunter of the pride. Qharisma is settling into her role as an Elder (Agraja). She watches as her youngest daughter Liora grows and thrives as one of the pride and she has great hopes for her daughter as part of the new generation of the pride. She often thinks back to her time as the lone lioness in Beladon's pride and remembers the changes that have happened throughout the times. In memory of their beginning she spends a great deal of time with the aging king reminiscing of the old days when their life was simpler and more peaceful. She seeks not to advise nor interfere with the new generation. Because as she knows she was lucky to have stayed in this pride and due to her mixed loyalties she cannot offer objective advice to the new generation. What she does do is teach the new lionesses that Banquan has claimed to bring them up to the standards of the pride and to ensure their place in the pride.

As she watches the pride grow in leaps and bounds she wonders about the children of the old generation. So far Loemba Lilith's favorite daughter is in a place to rise to great power in the pride and she has shown little of Lilith's rebellious spirit although she has shown a tendency to cruelity that she has become adept at hiding. The face that Loemba shows to the outside is that of a sweet gentle lioness who is demure and obedient. Olathe the daughter of Otyme is too young to determine a specific personality but watching how roughly the cub plays with her sister and the other smaller cubs is a pressing concern. Camielle and her children have turned their strengths to gentler pursuits such as the art of healing and cub rearing. the albino lionesses seem to avoid conflict as much as possible but it is clear to see that they are hoping for gentler pride than what it once was. Farseii who is Beladon's only living child is still dealing with the effects of being the outcast weakling of the clan. Yet there is still hope for her. Then you have the children of Pandora. Psyche the eldest daughter of Pandora has much of her mother in her. The desire to protect and strengthen the pride against all intruders show strongly in her. Qharisma wonders if this desire will end up with the same results as it did with her mother. The twins on the other hand. The twins greatly unnerve her. If not only for how difficult it is to tell how they are truly thinking or feeling at any time. She is almost positive that the friendly demeanor is simply a mask to make others relax. However this will be left to her daughter concern herself with. She has counciled Liora to stay out of the politics of the pride and simply make observations. it seems to be the safest position to take with the clan.
