Biography
After Metis failed to produce a cub with the appropriate markings, the Bard chose to visit the trading center for a proper heir. A young cub with several acceptable markings caught her attention, and she willingly offered the silver beetles requested for the trade. Then, she exchanged a gold beetle for a dose of a particular ichor, offering it to the cub. Thus allowed to become the heir, the Bard gave the new cub the name Tireless Athena, and set her up to train under Ares.
