Dreamboat of Ladies

In the hot desert a cub was born to a pride of three. The alpha who sired Raolen kicked him out almost immediately, not even allowing him the luxury of staying until two years old. As a small and young cub Raolen managed to cross the path of a lone lioness who had just lost a litter of three, hyenas had eaten all of them. The lioness, Nala, found this to be fate and raised the starving little lion to maturity. She then abandoned him for a large pride who promised protection to her next set of cubs. Alone again, Raolen claimed a territory in the desert that he had always known, but unknowingly he had claimed his father's territory. His father soon figured out that there was a young lion encroaching on his territory so they had a fight. Raolen fought hard and managed to scar his father but in the end he lost. He wondered off in search of a new destiny, because he figured fate wanted him out of the desert. Finding a valley with a beautiful lake in the center he settled down. Safarrus and Denali soon came along and before he knew it he had a litter. But what he didn't know was that the dry season was coming. When it did come Raolen nearly left his pride because he was suddenly frightened of this new life that he had created for himself. But Safarrus calmed him and got him to stay with the growing pride. From that moment, Raolen vowed to never forsake his pride. Like a captain with his ship, Raolen decided to stick with his pride through thick and thin.
