The mane braids show the sophiscated ways of the pride, and that the king is great in all his majesty. The fire opal pendant shows how the king values everyone around him, even the smallest of things. The claw and teeth necklace serves as a reminder that every king will face enemies and battles in his life, some he may not win. It is to console him if he loses, to tell him many others suffered worse fates. It is to congratulate him if he wins, to show him how he has triumphed over his enemy.
