He was born in a dip in the ground on the edge of his father's territory and remained there to grow strong with his two sisters, Mizu and Berry. Sikiria was introduced to the pride by his mother at eight weeks of age just as every cub must do and grew up, for the most part, a happy and beloved offspring of the king and a huntress. His father had no interest in leaving his throne to a male when he was still so young - and like so many young lions before him, Sikiria was forced to leave his birth pride at the age of two or face certain death at the paws of his own father. It wasn't until he was almost three that he happened upon the rocky, dangerous territory he now calls home. Aisha was the first lioness he ever met - proud, stark, and cunning. Her tongue was as sharp as a thorn, and to Sikiria, Aisha wasn't a pleasant gal to hang around. Never the less, Aisha was alone. She had no protection of family or of a male, and despite being a stubborn girl, she wasn't stupid. And thus, Chionesu was born on top of the mountainous, unforgiving landscape. Honeyfern was the second lioness Sikiria convinced to join him. She was a whole six years older then Aisha, and basically her polar opposite. Honeyfern was a very gentle, over-protective lioness. She was old enough to be Sikiria's own mother, but joined him as an able hunter and mother to future generations of Chionesu cubs. It was like this, just the three of them, for about three weeks before both Aisha and Honeyfern fell pregnant. It was soon after his first son's birth, Mavi, that Chionesu really began to grow. Felice, Amara, Maijani, Hikamaria, and Gasira came to expand Chionesu in numbers and in more fertile territory. Chionesu will continue to grow, and the young king Sikiria will learn with it. The king is undoubtedly going to make mistakes, and the legacy still continues with new editions and life lessons swarming inside Chionesu to make a melting pot of drama. W.I.P.
