King of the Jungle

As you approach, you see him herding a group of cubs, attempting to keep them under control. You notice that not all are lion cubs, there are a few leopard cubs, a serval cub, a lion cub, and even 2 African wild dog pups. The lion cub is noticeably trying to help who you can only assume to be her father in his endeavour, but she's not very well outspoken. Once settle, the youths set off on some sort of adventure, leaving this male behind. He takes notice of you and kindly gestures for you to join him as he sits down. He tells you about how he often offers to watch leopardesses cubs for small periods of time when they go hunting, think their cub needs a little more socialization, or just plain needs a break from them, and mentions that today a mother serval asked him to watch over her cub too, to his surprise. He says that he really doesn't mind, and that he's quite the fatherly type himself, although you already assumed that earlier on. When you ask about the AWD pups, he sighs and said they had followed him back to his pride and he hasn't had the heart to get rid of them. Besides, he says, they aren't causing any harm. They're just a tad... annoying, to put it bluntly. The two of you talk for a while, he gives you fatherly advice and talks about the importance of being a kind leader, as well as that it's important to build alliances with animals more than just other lions. You depart feeling wiser than when you arrived.
