Starshower Starshower is the last free survivor of his old pride after they were attacked by poachers. All the adults were butchered and the cubs captured by the men. A young adult himself and not yet sporting a mane he was at first caught, too, but managed to escape his cage. He roamed the savannah alone for a long time, looking for a place to settle down, and finally managed to start the family he has always looked for. Still the scars on his ankles are a constant reminder of the day he was captured. For a long time Starshower was alone in his travels until he found the lonely cub Morningstar, who would later become his queen, and settled down to care for her.
