TW// DEATH & Unhealthy traditions!!!
**(Origin)**
Woolio was born to a strict traditional pride whose belief system was that the Male lion (King) was above all and to be seen equal to the gods in the sky (Their male ancestors who are called "Kings of the times Before") at the time his father was the king, so he was born as an immediate rightful heir as the next king. Blindsided with the privileges he was born with; his father intoxicated his mind with how you're supposed to act as a king and things only male lions were allowed to do. Which was heavily influenced in his behaviors as he grew into an adolescent, which he mocked and bullied his half-sister's and older lionesses on how they should behave and why he was in the right of every argument they had.
**(Climax "Defying what is wrong and what is right")**
As he got older though he begun to question the morals of his pride own traditions and of his father's, after seeing a saddening incident that resulted in the death of two of his half-sisters that tried to defy their father. This caused him to be in conflict of this "tradition" that he was brought up in was right at all, and if it isn't, what is? All of this will soon be answered when his mother "Delilah" and him went out on a stroll one night together to patrol the territory, he asked about these conflicting thoughts he has and overall, the beliefs of the tradition they were brought up. In return she revealed to him what life is like as a lioness and some of the horrors she had to face while growing up by being given away as a bride to another lion (Woolio's dad) by her own father and having to do everything the King tells you even if it may be wrong. Since once again "He is seen at the same pedestal, as the gods above" which is revealed she disagrees with all of this, and the only reason she doesn't just leave is the fear of what will happen if she even tries and where she would go, she didn't know anything other than the system she was raised in.
Finally understanding and feeling empathy for his pride mates he begun to grow a deep hatred at his father. Which one day would change his life entirely, a lioness was caught telling a story to her cubs about a lioness who once was Queen of a pride which his father overheard and grew angry yelling at the lioness about how she could tell such horrendous things to her own cubs ready to swipe at her with unsheathed claws to teach her a lesson. Woolio intervened which caused a huge fight between him and his father that ended up with them both cut up and bruised. The father was obviously shocked at his son stopping him which caused him to think he has betrayed him and had become a false heir and now he had to get rid of him. The lionesses shocked at Woolio's action cause them to look up to him as they've never seen a male lion protect a lioness much less defy the king which reignited a little hope in them for things to possibly change. While out patrolling he was ambushed by his father in which resulted a fight of survival, fortunately his mother caught wind of this by other lionesses who witnessed it while out hunting. Grabbing a small group of lionesses, they rushed over to help Woolio out only to find him over the limp body of his father looking up at them to reveal the long scar on his left eye that was from his brow all the way across his muzzle.
After handling things and Woolio being in shock refusing to be the next king, his mother Delilah suggested him to live out his life away from all this and to start anew and that'll she'll take care of things here. Which resulted her to become the queens of the pride defying tradition of their pride slowly but surely creating something new for the pride. Saying their goodbye's Woolio makes way and starts his journey hoping to grow away and to be a better lion overall than he was raised to be. After a few years of exploring the world around he's finally decided to return to pride life but, rather than return to his old one he decides to start one.
**(The ending "breaking the cycle")**
Woolio created his own pride from scratch, thanks to the help of a lioness he came across while wandering the unknown lands beyond of his old home while out seeking to start anew in his life. A Loner named Bast who was formerly from another pride but was outcasted due to her rebellious nature whose, beliefs that Lionesses being able to walk beside as one with the Kings of the prides. Her overall inspirations and goal were to create a well-built pride if not better than her own old former pride. Thus, creating this bond with Woolio with equal interests and desires to make a pride that can knock down all the other one's that were tied down to old traditions with structured societies which morals were wrong and harmful towards lionesses, adolescents and cubs. Rather they wished to create a pride as Bast envisioned where all lions could walk as one.
Afterwards they both slowly fell for each other and decided to rule the land together as both King and Queen while keeping a fair and just system that works as a whole for everyone in their pride and territory. They had a son together in which they named Dilo in honor of his mother "Delilah". He wished for his son to be the next heir but quickly realized it was up to his son to decide if he wanted to or not wishing to not repeat the cycle that his father did to him. Which was ultimately decided through a fight of fates between his son and his adopted son (Ludwing). Ludwing emerged victorious and it was revealed that Dilo never wished to be king of his father's pride, rather he wished to explore the world just like him and possibly create his own pride. Which Woolio embraced him and told his son whatever he wanted to do in life, he'll always support him and help him out in any way he can.
The end. :)
