I went through many different name themes, including crusaders, overwatch characters, and Beric Dondarrion. However, I went down a different path and while researching Native American figures I could not get this word out of my head; Echota. So, instead of making an homage to a figure, his name is an homage to the Treaty of New Echota, the Treaty that led to the Trail of Tears.
