Topaz has been sex changed twice! King at 8:48 PM EST 1/25/2021
When Topaz was born Aniag adopted him and raised him with his offspring. 3 years prior Aniag adopted his older sister Artie. Ava II, Artie, and Topaz were close. Aniaged adopted Axel. Axel became a warrior. Topaz has a closer relationship with Ava. Aniag's only son committed an act against the pride. Aniag banished him and appointed Topaz as heir. Normally if Topaz became an adult, he was given the choice to stay as a sub male or leave and start a pride on his own. Normally, most of the male cubs born during Ainag's reign were often kicked out at age two, especially those not biologically his. The majority of pride members agreed with Aniag's choice.
Topaz attempted to court Ava II. Ava viewed him as family. Topaz titled her as his ceremonial wife. The pair never had any children. Ava had 5 offspring with 4 different fathers. Pride members believed Topaz's offspring should be appointed as heirs-apparent. Others believed Ava's offspring should be heir. Topaz sired a daughter with Ava's oldest daughter Aries. Lord Topaz appointed Ava's second son Ashoka as heir. Lord Topaz wanted to return the dynasty to Aniag's line of descendants. He feared of future in-fighting in the pride. King Aniag was a peaceful king and Topaz was inspired to follow suit. Lord Topaz stated he adopted Ava II's offspring and incorporated them into his family tree. Ava II reframed her great-granddaughters from using the pride title princess. Lord Topaz was deeply affected by Queen Ava II's and Axel's deaths.
Artie supported of Topaz's decisions and helped spread Aniag's peaceful agreements with other pride.
Not able to catch the fast hare, Topaz got angry and started smashing the nearest ant hills with her paws while screaming at the top of her lungs. Staying focused, Topaz ran after a grasshopper and was able to successfully catch it. Good cub! After throwing a bit of a tantrum earlier today, pouncing came easier when she put her anger into it!As you approach, Topaz comes up to you asking once again if you really care about her.You go to get a drink of water and find Topaz holding still, using his shadow to attract fish for easy catching. Nice.
A flock of tiny birds are playing and pouncing all over Topaz. He is just remaining where he is, humming softly and letting them go at it.
You come upon Topaz gently snoozing despite a few intrepid young monkeys trying to get a rise out of him by chattering and throwing twigs. You were feeling a bit annoyed about being beaten in a fight, but Topaz cheerfully assured you that you will always have the chance to try again!
