Biography
First king of the Cloudmane Pride. Ādryan was only a cub when he was taken in by a kind, ageing lion named Mjando. The old lion confided in Ādryan, and told the cub that he would have to take over when he passed, since Mjando had no heirs to take on the role. Since the time he was old enough, Ādryan scouted plains, marshlands, and jungle alike, training and preparing to take the throne. In time, Ādryan grew large and strong enough to rule Mjando's pride. The white-maned lion was wise enough to know that he would need help keeping the borders of his soon-to-be kingdom safe, so when Smaointe brought home two white-tailed sons, Ādryan begged her to let him train them when they were of age so that they would be able to aid in protecting the pride from intruders. Smaointe agreed, and let her sons Whitey and Whitney prepare for the daunting task of protecting their pride. Eventually, the old king, Mjando became aware that it was his turn to leave his pride, and so he stepped down from the throne, wishing Ādryan and the rest of the pride all good years to come. --- 823 Stats
