Biography
When Astirion chose Nyxeris as his heir, it was for his kidness and gentle nature. He had been a model little prince and had earned the respect and love of the whole pride. With Astirion still hanging around as an elderly, retired king, Nyxeris led the pride in line with the expectations set by King Primo and King Astirion before him. Not long after the passing of King Astirion, the rumor that the monstrous looking king had died spread like wildfire and the prosperous and lush lands became a prime target for many a rogue. While King Nyxeris was able to repel all attacks without much damage to him, sometimes with the aid of the sub males of the pride as well as the lionesses, this could not last forever. On a fateful night, during a quiet, routine patrol, King Nyxeris got attacked by two rogue lions. The fight was going in his favor as he landed a crushing blow upon one of them, crushing the opponents head against a rock. This however led to the other one ramming into King Nyxeris, sending him head first into a rock wall. The still standing rogue heard the roars of the quickly approaching sub males and chose to escape with his life. King Nyxeris was brought to his den, in hopes he would awaken. His awakening brought a new era to the prosperous and safe lands. Perhaps due to the defeat, or perhaps due to the head injury, King Nyxeris became a cruel tyrant of all but the pride members that had been there for a while. The sun set upon Prima Terra, the long night began.
