Once he lived in lands where grass flourished and antelope ran as far as the eye could see. But then a deadly male took over and cast him out. He traveled for weeks searching for a place and pride to call his own. Weeks after being cast out he came across a hyena wasteland and decided to settle their. He lived their for a year before one day a young lioness wandered through his territory. He ran after her intending to chase her off, but he once he set eye on her he could not bear to law a paw on her. He invited her back home and they stayed together for days. Laughing and talking. She eventually told him that she had to leave as she needed to get back home. Secretly he followed her and was surprised when she traveled back to his birth pride. Their he found that what was once a oasis had turned into something worse than the hyena wastelands he called his home. Furious with what the old male had done to his home territory he challenged the male to a dule. It was a fierce battle, it looked like he was going to lose but the female he had befriended saved him. He killed the old male mercilessly and took back his home. Years later the oasis was thriving again but the female he had befriended suddenly got sick and died. He was heartbroken and vowed that he would never forget her. Years later he still holds her in his heart and will always remember his precious lioness who he loved deeply. But she lives on in the cubs she gave him and he cherishes each new cub as they all remind him of his lioness.
