A dense, dark fog rolls high above the ground. This is very unlike your typical damp morning mist. At first, you thought it meant there's a nearby fire, but... no. It smells like humans, like their dens and their cars. The air makes you feel like something is squeezing your lungs, and you just cannot get a breath deep enough to make you feel normal. Your throat is itching horribly. You hack and cough, trying to find a gust of fresh wind that would lead you away from here.
Soft Lion, Warm Lion, little ball of fur, Happy Lion, Sleepy Lion, purr purr, purr.
You approach the lady carefully so as to not startle her, and begin to explain why females hunt in groups, how they use tactics, and how moving herds works out for them. You suggest that if she prefers to hunt alone, choosing smaller and slower prey is the key. You drive this in by showing off on a pair of pangolins waddling nearby. The two of you play with the rolled-up pangolin balls for a bit before you leave.
You notice a camouflaged truck covered with some worn canvas. You smell meat inside - humans must hide their poached kills in there.
It's a Trap!
You notice something unsettling - it's a human trap! Thankfully you're clever enough to not get caught in it.
This weird rhino has a hole in its horn. It seems to bleed an odd colour from the man-made wraps. After seeing so many rhinos with their faces cut off, you start to think some humans are trying to prevent that from happening again.
You smell a group of poachers nearby. You crouch down to hide a bit, maybe to ambush them - but you suddenly hear loud noises and a bunch of other people are attacking them! One of the rangers passes you by and pauses to notice you. However, he goes on his way, to point his firestick at more bad humans. You almost feel like blushing.

You approach the calf and try to nudge it, encouraging it to let go of the mom. You can smell the scattered elephant group in the distance, so you push the scared baby towards that direction. Out of respect (and hard skin), you do not touch the carcass; instead you grab at some gathering carrion critters. You got +12 Silver Beetles! (+1 RB!)
It's a Trap!
Oh no, your leg got caught in something! It was a human trap! Luckily after some nibbling it broke away, although you did lose some dignity.
You sit down a few meters away and observe the cub with compassion. It decides to curl next to you and doesn't protest when you lick blood off of its head. The cub will learn how to avoid traps for the future and teach its own offspring as well. (+4% Impression!)
While the wolf is yowling at you in fear, you try to break the snare. You finally figure out where you have to sink your claws and pull really hard and it opens just enough for the animal to make a run for it. It didn't even thank you. Rude. (+2 RB, +1% Impression, +2 Prevent Points!)
It's a Trap!
Suddenly you get launched into the air - trapped in a net! With some wiggling you manage to free yourself out with a few bruises and luckily there's no humans around anymore.
A group of people appears in a safe distance from you and they seem to free an animal from a trap. They leave in a machine, leaving you to think.. Maybe not all humans are so bad.
After stalking the humans for some time, you rush out of the tall grasses and swipe at them fiercely with your claws, just managing to rip the back of one's shirt! Close one! They panicked and ran. (+1 RB, +1 PP)
It's a Trap!
In the close distance you notice a freshly killed zebra that seems to be all alone - no scavengers! What a rare chance! Blinded by your hunger instincts, you start nomming. But... It was poisoned! Your body rejects the toxins but you suffer from sickness.
You roar gently, calling them over to join you. There's a good hiding spot in your pridelands. Though hesitant, they're out of options, so they follow you. When they finally feel safe again, you're given a gift to show their appreciation. (+3 PP, +1 RB)

A lioness with creamy white fur approaches you, smiling. "Hey! I'm Kitty. I already have a husband, but I wanted to let you know how impressive you are." Turning, her tail tuft brushing under your chin, she slopes away. Huh?
A scrawny looking lion ambushes you, letting out a husky growl. "Bro. I'm Xylax, I'm the cool one, bro. You wanna prove it? Huh? Chest bump, bro, huh?" he flails, running away barking at birds like nothing happened. What?
It's a Trap!
You step on something cracking and feel a sudden pain in your back. A colourful dart just hit you, forcing you to doze off. When you wake up it's late, but you're still alive, at least.
Watching the goats devour literally everything in their path is... quite mesmerising. You thank the goats for cleaning up. It was so fascinating to watch that you accidentally took a longer rest than expected!
Not taking a risk, you decide to hide in the bushes. A male rhino shows up and sniffs the corpse before leaving with the baby. Once they've gone, you investigate the carcass.
What an odd lion! It looks like an offspring of a Leopon and a lion with Dwarfism. It seems to be pouncing at lizards between the rocks. When the lion spots you, he puffs up and tries to climb out in a rush. When he's gone, you notice he kicked up some cool-looking rocks.

It's a Trap!
While exploring, you feel the ground fall away beneath you and you tumble into a hole with sharp sticks at the bottom. After struggling for a while, you manage to climb out, bloodied and bruised.
You sit down in the shadow of the colossal animal and rub your head against its belly, doing your best to show your good intentions. The animal huffs, but lets you rest, protecting you as you feed. It's quite sad there aren't many rhinos left to share such moments with.
