Kagi was actually adopted and raised by a female Leopon, though because she was smaller than the average lion, it was hard for her to hunt for the two of them as he grew older, not to mention protecting him when she could climb and he could not, eventually Kagi had to move on to find his own pride, a few days afterwards, Kagi was found near a dead tree when Namir was patroling, he was dehydrated and barely breathing, so Namir dragged him almost 5 miles to the nearest waterhole and protected him while Kagi regained his strength, Kagi had sworn to protect Namir and the Zinca Pride with his life in return, and now he is the second ever to rule over the Zinca Pride
