Aarav, Fog Farer, Rain Rider... One has been given many names.
Aarav is a young demi-deity, child of the Star Goddess and a mortal mother, Damu. Due to her divine heritage, Aarav does not specify her gender nor sex, quoting her "Am I a lioness or lion? That's a good question, for I do not know either. And quite honestly do not care to figure out, I'm just Aarav. Nothing more or less.". He appears rather distant and quiet at first glance, however this fog around him dissipates sooner than later, once fully comfortable a chuckle or paw covered giggle isn't all that hard to earn from Aarav. If a brought up topic especially tickles Aarav's fancy you'll be in for a lectur about the subject, he delivers his thoughts with an odd vigor yet calmness, you could call it passion. It hasn't reached Aarav's ears but not all lions quite like him for his slightly unnerving and unhinged personality, questioning most things for the sake of knowing all there is to know and feeding his endless pit of curiousity. There's still plenty of those who enjoy their presence, one of them being a bordering pride's queen, although it sometimes seems like she simply tolerates Aarav. One minute she might be half-heartedly swiping at Aarav, and the next they are sunning themselves while exchanging information, tips and an occasional joke. Aarav brings a spark of companionship and adventure to Pasiphae and in exchange Pasiphae, even if unintentionally, has taught Aarav social cues.
For moons and moons Aarav stayed with their mortal mother, Damu, rarely meeting her divine parent. Even as a little cub he had a taste for adventure and exploring the territory. The birth pride's territory grew small for adolescent Aarav so in her late teens she bid goodbye to the family she had known and set off to explore beyond the scent markers. This is how they ended up here, in newly crowned Aranei's territory. Thankfully, Aranei proved to be a fair and just king, allowing Aarav to linger around in the marshlands territory, mayhaps also hoping Aarav would bring them good luck and rains. There seems to be a constant humidity surrounding Aarav, whether that is barely noticeable mist or thick fog. Sometimes this humidity involuntarily summons rainclouds. This is one of the rare topics Aarav refuses to discuss, immediately shooting down the conversation. In truth, Aarav cannot actually manipulate the weather, it is completely reactive to his feelings and mood. Strong feelings whether negative or positive equal more intense fog, and weaker feelings summon in ever so slightly humid air.
