Lavenderstar interacts with the rest of his pride-mates the bare minimum, and many of them don't think he's the best king for doing so. Especially since the Earthquake Lionesses have joined LavenderClan. He sensed their rising tension, but knew he was a coward at heart, and didn't stop himself from putting off the situation by staying out of camp and spending his time "exploring." If anything, he finds their dwindling loyalty and loss of trust in him irritating.
