Ekon was a feminine looking adolescent with piercing purple eyes that complimented his pink pelt, his adoptive parents were Delta and Wein. His biological parents being unknown. But one thing is for certain about Ekon's parents, they were genetically messed up. Some say they were inbred barbary lions that killed themselves in a fit of rage at their son looking like a lioness. Others say that they were born with lethal mutations, but they somehow survived into adulthood and had a cub together (Ekon).
Because of his messed up genetics, Ekon found comfort in feasting upon his fellow lions. If anyone found out he was a cannibal, he'd be killed and or exiled, so keeping this a secret was a vital task that Ekon was willing to take on. As his formative years went on, an older lion by the name of Virtigo offered to be his mentor. Viritgo was a large, mulberry lion with a crested mane. His paws were huge and large claws were constantly peeking out of the end of his toes. The large lion came from a long line of muscular lions, who may or may not have been inbred. In order for Ekon to be mentored by Virtigo, he must never speak a word about them meeting up and training. You may be wondering, why was Virtigo training Ekon? And maybe, what was his intentions? Virtigo had the intention to make Ekon king of the pride, their meetings had to be kept secret as Delta would've become aware of his plan to overthrow her. While he was mentoring Ekon, Virtigo also had no idea of Ekon's cannabalistic ways, making it even worse if they were to be ratted out.
As Ekon aged, Delta became more and more suspicious of him. But, she had no reason why she was leaning towards him, her own son, being a traitor. Obviously concerned, she told Wein. Wein did not agree with Delta's 'accusations', and began to argue with her. The two drifted apart slowly because of their conflicting decisions. No one tried to apologize, and no one tried to make ends meet.. Until...
Ekon decided to leave Delta's pride to build one of his own. Both Delta and Wein were conflicted and, both, very suspicious. Ekon was still a young lion and no way would he survive out in the Savannah, or wherever he would decide to call home. No matter how hard the two lionesses tried to reason with their son, he was not changing his decision. He did not want to overthrow his mother and the only option was to put his training to work.
It took quite a while for Delta to uncover the truth about Virtigo and Ekon. But when she did, she was not very happy and would not hold back. She blamed Virtigo for the way her son acted, blaming him for leaving and blaming him for his cannabalistic ways. On the very same night, she exiled him on the spot.

Ekon was stalking Virtigo for month's before their first meeting, he was planning on digesting him but he knew Virtigo was to strong for him. So he decided to do on research on Virtigo, finding out things that Virtigo himself did not know. Like example Virtigo's incest fest of a ancestry. Ekon saw Virtigo as family after finding out that. Believing that they were the same because under the right circumstances they are both considered freaks.
