You trot up to the water hole, noticing some pale-brown fur sticking up from a nearby boulder. You realize its Cordes, he seems distracted watching something, you follow his gaze down to the clearing next to the water hole. You see Serenity emerge from the tall grass soon followed by a large group of cubs and the other brood mothers. They all dip their heads down as they start to drink and you shake your head as if you just woke from a trance. You quickly begin to drink, once done you look back up at Cordes. You meet his eyes and he grins at you and nods as if he's asking you to come join him. You decide to join him for a bit and you both start talking about cubs and how they just grow up so fast. As the sun starts to set you both say your goodbyes and Cordes jumps down to walk with his lionesses and cubs back to their cave.
