Dahlia was born to a human and a shape-shifting deity. The god had a strange intrigue and preference for lions. She was supposed to be infertile, but out popped a baby human while she was in her lion form. While Dahlia is unable to become anything other than a lion, she was born a human. Once she turned 16 , she was bestowed with a key to a library, and was told she needed to run it in place of her mother one day, who when she was young, ran it for her father and so on. The library of Aalekh was started by her ancestors. It is for humans and animals alike! Mostly humans, however, as Dahlia is too busy running her main kingdom and animals only seem to go to watch her fur twinkle in the light. The books are somehow magical, as it was found that they can be read by anyone, despite any language barriers, as the books adjust their letters to that of the native language of the reader. This allows animals to come in and read books about how to lead prides, or how to change their genetics to show a completely different look. Dahlia, while enjoying her new job as the book master, still had the desire to lead her own pride, and embrace her lioness nature. In order to do this, she appointed advisors. Her lion advisors, help take care of her cubs, while her human ones run the library. It is said that you may occasionally see a sparkle of starlight flash across the floor in the library, or a smell of clouds and dew inside the caves.
