Biography
Troian and his sister Jezabel were given to the new king Nebula as a gift from the Three Cats Pride on the day of his coronation. Knyaz decided this unique and promising pair of cubs would be a great symbol of unity between the prides. Nebula graciously accepted the cubs from his longtime friend, Knyaz has been an even stronger mentor than his pride's former king, Tempe. He also valued the cubs on the base that he had no heir in line yet and he had now taken the throne at 10 years of age. As he himself was not a direct offspring of the current king, he had no doubt that Troian would be capable of ascending after his time in power, with the right guidance of course! As strong and talented as the young cub was, he needed a little work in steadiness, dignity and controlling his wild streak (with his adventures with Jezabel only encouraged)! When the pride's former king, Nebula, turned 14 years old Troian "talked him into an early retirement" due to his impatience to rule (and partially due to his twin sister's urging and manipulation). This caused a slight rift among the lionesses as supporters of Nebula (including his queen, Venus) were surprised and felt insecure of their own positions in the pride. Their new king took the name "Troian" upon coronation (formally known as Hades), which happens to be regarded as a Russian "night demon" in folklore, as a symbol of his dark and demonic appearance. His looks may be deceiving though, Troian is ridiculously patient and loves to spend time teaching and playing with his cubs. Despite the rocky start to his reign, he won over the hearts of his pride mates! Even though Troian and Mazikeen were technically betrothed to each other by former king Nebula, Troian still chose her to be his queen soon after he claimed the throne. It wasn't immediate, and his hesitation did hurt Mazikeen, even if she never shared this with anyone. The new king was warring with who he wanted to make his official queen, Mazikeen or Heavenly, because he had grown up very close to both lionesses. Mazikeen sealed the deal though with the birth of their stunning daughter, Cassia. The cub's rare Cinnabar coat was a sign to Troian that they are an exceptional pair.
