They are most known for being a group of travellers, often switching locations and finding new territories. They are typically spiritual, though their Soothsayer is often the only one allowed to contact the lions that rest in their dynasty. Absolon is the third leader of the Pride, and believes very strongly in obedience and conformity. Absolon is stoic and silent. Many older pride-mates could recite stories of his mothers gruesome death, and the prejudice and challenge he faced growing up. Many seasons had passed since his mother went to join the stars; stars he watched every night, looking for her. Silently praying for her guidance, for his heart, his ability to bond… died with her. Her death left him alone. Left him to fend for himself and to do so he could not let others close. Letting them in made him vulnerable. And that meant he could lose everything again. So, Absolon kept his heart closed. He sparred to train, not for fun. He did not play. He struck with precision and never faltered. And when it was time for a new king to be crowned, Absolon stepped up to the throne. A challenge was issued; a fair fight. If he won, the pride was his, and he would defend it with his life. And so, the fight began. But because he did not fight from a place of emotion, he countered every move - every blow - until he stood as the reigning King. Even now, he reigned with logic. Every move is considered, by him and him alone and if it did not serve the pride it would not be done. He cannot be bought, he cannot be swayed, he cannot be manipulated; and it is serving his pride well. Though the king's reclusiveness made him a fair leader, it did no good to the huntresses and cubs around him.
