The young king known as Sah stands before the front of the conjoined prides, gazing with his unsettlingly blind eyes. His maneless head is held high, ghostly wings flaring out dramatically behind him. He lets out a roar, small flecks of shining stars fall from his maw before he closes it again.
The is the beginning of a new kings reign.

Sah (sꜣḥ) was a god in Ancient Egyptian religion, representing a constellation that encompassed the stars in Orion and Lepus, as well as stars found in some neighboring modern constellations. Sah was "The father of the gods", which was a personification of modern Orion and Lepus Constellations.

Pride Lore:
The Westline territory spans over the west sector of the Usmua Pride lands, home to a multitude of prides that fluctuate in leadership, location, size, and cultures. The prides have been warring at their borders for millennia, all eager to take over more territory for their growing populations, those with dwindling sizes fighting desperately to maintain their meager territories.
The Galixis (Of German origin, meaning "Galaxy") Pride is run by High Lady Nephthys, the heiress to Stratus, daughter of the elder queen Pandora who first ran the pride. She is a small lioness, who prefers to stick to the shadows as her guards take the brunt of whatever they first come across. She is a just, a responsible leader, who despite her indifference, is kind and intelligent to those of her pride. The Galixis pride used to share their territory with their sister pride, Raum (Of German origin, meaning "Space"), who'd split from Galixis in the early ages of the king Mince' reign, taking over the flatlands and high mountains on the eastern portion of their territory. A mere few decades ago, they reconvened with Galixis, merging the prides once more under the reign of Sah, the Heavenly Star, a young lioness born of Mott, a neighboring territories lioness who then crossed the borderlines and was taken in by the late king, nursed until he could claim the crown. Sah takes control of the territory itself, patrolling and guarding the expansive borders of Westline, keeping the unwanted out and their border scented. Occasionally, he will return to the resting grounds of Galixis with a cub or two at his heels. He has been asked before, by many a lioness from his pride, but he refuses to explain himself before he is gone once more to patrol the edge.
Recently, after the catastrophe that befell the territory during a cataclysmic tornado that ripped through the heart of the territory, sent the other pride landers into a frenzy over the sudden extensive “unclaimed lands” that the now lost pride has left in it’s absence. No one has been able to contact Galixis in decades.
The Glaixis Pride worships the planets and their corresponding deities. However, the Raum pride preferred following the link of the stars and their constellations while the Galixis Pride prefers following the moon cycles and the planets.
They've been told that it's a bit of a culture shock when outsiders have been allowed entry into the territory, while you see males, the lionesses are who seem to run these lands. The most decorated of them seemingly I charge of certain tasks. Highest of said ranks referred to as “Lady” while their protégés are referred to as “Young”. While this is different than most prides, this one seems content with the order of things.
The Shamans and Priestesses, alongside their own protégés, similar to the Ladies, are viewed as the link between this pride and their ancestors. The Shamans are said to be the link between the spirit realm where their deities and spirits roam, calling upon them as needed. The Priestesses are their link between ghosts, their dead pride mates and the like. Both are equally revered and cared for as if Queens amongst their pride mates.
After Sah came into rule, he now presents himself as male but still holds the respect of the lioness of each pride he would have if he were to still be referred to as a lioness, perhaps more thanks to their unordinary gender-norms.
