Fate, is technically Fate jr. But because his father Fate was such a horrible king and generally did nothing good for Blackbird Crest, he was dethroned by his only son and heir, Fate the second. Lions within the pride do not refer to Fate the second as; "Fate the second". Mainly because they wish not to remember of Fate's father. Fate's father took the throne from Europa many moons ago forcefully. - Europa was a good king and a kind soul, he understood that by not giving up his place and stepping down his whole pride was in danger from fate's father. If it weren't for Fate, (the second) Fate (the first) would have continued his unfair rein, and dictorial regime. Fate (the second)'s mate and forever partner is Tempest, the lioness initially selected to rule after Fate (the first). This did not go to plan, as Fate (the first) was only using Tempest, and Tempest had no real desire to be a leader.
