Amias had been taken in by the late king Azerix after the king noticed many of his daughters taking an interest. Even though he personally thought this new lion was all bark and no bite, he was pleasantly surprised the more he spent time with Amias as they trained together. Amias still looks back fondly to his time with his adoptive father and wishes to follow in his paw prints with confidence one day.
