Coronation of Blissful… Blissful stood proud, pride mates she grew up with huddled around her in a circle. Suddenly, a cut through the circle had appeared as an old, cream-coloured lion shambled through the crowd. “The ceremony will begin now.” He announced, staring at Blissful with a loving gaze. This lion had been a father to her after being left for dead by her mother. “Thank you for everything, Timer” Blissful spoke to the older lion, eyes tearing up. Suddenly, a growl rose from the circle. A shape lunged at her, claws outstretched and a snarl rising on their face. “IT SHOULD’VE BEEN ME!” The shape hissed, pinning her down. The lion slashed her neck. Blissful struggled, before going limp… Clamor rose from the surrounding croud, yowls of outrage sounded out as the crowd ganged up on the attacker and killed him mercilessly. Meanwhile, Blissful stood on the line between live and death, when a voice called out to her. “I have a deal for you..” Something whispered into her ear, she turned and met the face of a celestial serpent. “I was blinded by the same lion that injured you, Blissful. Give me your eyesight, and in return I will give you life..” The voice hissed into her ear, even though the snake-like shape was far away. Blissful nodded quickly, and in an instant she woke up, yet something was wrong.. she couldn’t see no longer. That has been the deal. Lions swarmed around her immediately. “I have made a deal with a celestial being!” Blissful announced, the crowds gasps surrounding her. “I gave up my eyesight, to lead this pride into a new era of welfare, and allow every lion to join!” The crowds roared, then bowed. Timer licked her head. “Blissful, you shall now be known as Blissful, the Sapphic. Please lead the pride into a better future.” He announced. Blissful was now leader of these lions, and all she could think of was what she could do next…
